The 2016 Jake Hodge Tournament raised a record $26,200. The Rally Squirrels dominated the field from start to finish. The Squirrels pounded a tournament record 17 home runs, batted .500 and were 5-0 for the event. Dono McGregor was the MVP batting .706 and hitting 3 home runs. Dono was also masterful on the pitching mound with wins over the Free Press, Fredonia Boys, Bone Collectors, 10U wildcats, and Team Lara. Team Lara threatened in the championship game taking a 4-1 lead into the top of the fifth, but back to back to back home runs by Allen Dixon, Dono, and Brandon Sigler would tie the game. The squirrels would get a home run by Joey East for the win in the top of the 6th inning.
