 Jake Hodge Foundation Tournament

The Bone Collectors won their second straight JHF Tournament in convincing fashion. The fundraising set a record with $18,628 raised to support scholarships for the Jake Hodge Foundation. Dan Hodge was named MVP on the strength of his pitching for the Free Press. The former Indiana baseball player shutout the Bone Collectors in pool play for the Collectors first loss in the history of the Jake Hodge Tourney. Former Philadelphia Phillies player Anthony Schuemaker would lead the bone Collectors with 5 home runs for the tournament. The Collectors defeated Team 11 in semifinals 7-2 and the Kings of Crash in the finals 7-1. It would be the second JHF Tourney championship in a row for the big boys from Paducah.
